Anurag Kashyap’s Gangs of Wasseypur 3 to release next year

 

The Bombay Velvet director has reportedly asked Zeishan Quadri to direct the film

Anurag Kashyap’s last outing Bombay Velvet disappointed the critics and masses alike, but the director has decided to let bygones remain bygones. He is all spruced up to start work on his new venture, Gangs of Wasseypur 3.  Zeishan Quadri who originally scripted the two-part film has now been roped in for the third part as well.
It would be interesting to note that Zeishan has acted in the film as well. He was seen as Definite Khan, Sardar Khan’s son from his second wife Durga. The excited Quadri confirmed this news and told a tabloid, “It’s great when your mentor appreciates your work. I am what I am today because of Anurag sir’s guidance and encouragement. And will start work on Gangs of Wasseypur 3, soon.”

As far as mentor Anurag is concerned, he is more than happy to delegate work to the 31- year-old actor-turned-director. Anurag who reportedly sees a reflection of self in Quadri shares ,”He’s eager to learn and keeps reinventing and discovering ideas. In spite of not having any cinematic education, Zeishan has lots of courage. He has an incredible drive, which is four times mine.”
Kashyap is all praises for the young director and says that he has immense level of zeal and passion coupled with a vivid thought process. The film is set to release next year.
